New project on Dyno. a New Beetle 1.8T + K04-001 small turbocharger

The dyno result first, 228.7PS at wheel, it means, it is about 285.875PS from the engin. And 37.2kg torque at wheel.

Hardware spec:
1.8T Stock engine.
4AT gear box (yes, it is still with stock 4AT transmiossion box)
2.5" APR downpipe
2.5" Milltek cat-back muffler
K04-001 turbocharger, current maximum pressure is 1.4bar
Samco intake hoses set
HKS Super SQV blow off valve
N249, N112, SAI(Secondary Air Injection) removed
And homebrew ECU chip.

It is a new generation of Ignite Rev, it is now called as "Inside Ignite Rev". You don't need to rebuild the coil with Ignite Rev any more, you just need to use this new Inside Ignite Rev to replace the stock one.

Ok, time to clean the engine bay again.

You probably can see what I have removed from the engine bay. What I have removed are N112, N249, N75, vacuum reservoir, 2nd Air Injection pump, 2nd Air Injection valve, and many other unnecessary stuff to make the engine looks much clear and clean :).

 

And, here is a close shot of the cylinder head, as you might noticed that I use "Super Thermo Cloth" from Billion to cover the coil wires to help it cool down a bit.

Yes, it is just released HKS NEW Turbo Timer - Model Type 1, and I bought two of them(model type 1)  as one is for my friend's turbo sports car. :) 

 

It has identical look as the brand new HKS EVC boost controller as I have installed in my car. I think it fits my car better than the apexi turbo timer which I have it installed long time ago.

This new generation of HKS Turbo Timer - Model Type 1 has many impressive feature, includes

13 Selectable timer countdown settings:
 a. Manual Mode 1: User selected countdown between 0-10min

Take it easy. just see the snapshot of the Dyno monitor..

wow. you would see engine outputing power is over 620p in the screenshot. and the wheel based power is around 540whp.

And, sorry, using mobile phone to take photo, i know the resolution is not awful. :(



The fuel is not quite ok so far, it could be even more better afte some fine tune.

At least, the figure is not so bad, isn't it?
