Which DV/BOV did I pick!? The winner is Forge DV007!

Well, I just choose this one, and the problem seems gone after installing this DV. Hope there would be no more problem any more!
By the way, I've found the major factor causes "Pressure locking problem": If I don't drive the car before the water temperture reachs the working temperture right after starting the engine everyday morning. I will get this 17705 fault code. Now, all I need to do now is to drive my car slowly from my car park to the drive and drive it gently before it get working temperture, this problem just solved. There must be some problems with my car while it trys to get hotter from COLD mode! Hopefully I cna figure out where the problem is in very short time. I've get the pressure locking problem for two weeks, I would say this problem has been solved awhile.
Meet Golf V 1.9L TDI today.

I met it today in VW garage, I got into it and try to press the accelerator pad. It sounds good. Afar as I know, this one might be the first Gold TDI running on the road in Taiwan and before the owner have it, I've tried it already. :)
Do DYNO by yourself?
Yes, if you have Ross-Tech VAG-COM software, Ross-Tech connection cable and a brave heart then you can do this by yourself! :)
Here is an example made by the article author with one 2000 Golf GTI 1.8T with only GIAC chip.

Check is the detailed instruction: "Butt Dyno" Instruction
Dude, Just pick one of DV or BOV for New Beetle
Well, yesterday. driving my car on the motorway, the turbo pressure drop suddently without any foretoken. The pressure drop back to around 0.4 Bar, the mode I call it safe mode just like the N75 valve is broken. I pluged the HEX-USB cable in, turned my laptop on and ran the vag-com. Ok, check the engine, working. read the falut code, bingo, the fault code is "17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check DV!)". I guess it tells me that it is about time to replace my 710N DV which installed on my car.
In fact, I've saved some DV and BOV for a rainy day. lol. Here is the list:

DYNO day! New Beetle Power testing day!
Well, eventually, it is the day to do Dyno Horsepower Test for my New Beetle! And here is the result:

The testing machine is "Bosch LPS002", and the result in text is as below:
| Power at the Wheel: | 234.60 hp |
| Losing Power: | 18.36 hp |
| Power at the Engine: | 252.96 hp |
| Environment Temperature: | 16? |
| Environment Air Pressure: | 1018 millibar |
| Correction coefficient: | 0.988 |
| Power after correction: | 249.92 hp |
Oil replacing!!! HKS Super Turbo Racing!

Now the oil running in the engine of my New Beetle is HKS Super Turbo Racing SL 15W50.
Due to having turbine modification, I got to replace the oil though it is about to change the oil of this engine. This time, I decide to try this HKS oil that I've never used just because the garage which modifying the turbine for said this oil is very good for a engine which bind with turbo system. I told them that "Ok! Just go ahead, do it!" :)
Turbine upgrading?

Yes, this is turbine in the photo my KKK K03/04 turbine (the input bore is size 4, the output bore is size 3), but this is not the one exact install on my car, because I've installed another KKK k03/04 which I took from the Golf 337 (25th Anniversary edition), the one where my gearbox was installed on). This turbine in the photo is just the factory one, yes, the one which was installed on my car before.
(More)Revo's optional SPS unit

Regarding the introduction on Revo's web page, it says: "All Revo performance software programs are switchable via the OBD2 port on your car using our SPS device." I just played around my SPS3 today. (Is my SPS3 free or not??? I won't tell you. lol)

(More)Brilliant car saving toolkit!

I bought this toolkit long long time ago, but i've not put it in the trunk of my New Beetle yet. I used to use this box stoping my dogs running out. :) I think it is about time to put this in the trunk though I've remove the spare tire one month ago.
Rabbit rear roof spoiler - RSi style

This spoiler is cool! isn't it? It is just the same as the one on New Beetle RSi and the one on the car in the Beetle Cup. Well, I bought this spoiler couple months ago, but I've not paint it or install it yet. Because it cannot be installed on my 1.8T car due to the automatical raising roof spoiler would rise this cool thing to hit the roof of car. :( At first, I decide to cut part of it and redesign it to fit the automatical raising roof spoiler of my 1.8T NB. But, I've no time doing this, then it has been almost?forgotten till my girlfriend reminded me that she wants something new for her red New Beetle 1.6. Now, it would be painted in to red and installed on her lovely NB soon.
