Well, someone told me that there is a guy who trys to tell members in the New Beetle Club here the antenna from Golf V GTI. The guy trys to convince everyone that this antenna from GTI is better than the stock one on the bug, he even said that there is a signal ampfiler in this GTI antenna. As I know, it is totally bullshit.It is time to break this liar.



As you can see, there is nothing on the surface of the antenna. In fact, there is just only a resistance on it.

It is yet another D.I.Y. project of 60φ Gauge House, totaly hand made. I think this is the only one 60φ Gauge House for New Beetle. :)

It is in fact based on the stock dashboard covering. I cut part of it and rebuild the new gauge house on it.

I think I need to modify some part of this gauge house to make it looks better. And will paint it into black in few days. Will post the picture right after the final stage done!

Just saw my friend's Porsch 996 TT parked in front of my bug, I said hello to him and took this picture. :)

It looks like super clean in the first picture, but in fact, it is so dirty in the other side. So, time to clean it up using brake cleaner. :)

Well, the Golf 337/25AE seats are really not what I wanted, too soft for me, so I sold it to someone and got two brand new Recaro SRIII seats back again. This time, I got to build two of them by myself. Here we go!....:)

I sold the 308mm ECS one piece disc to someone few weeks ago. Yesterday, I got the two pieces disc from ECS and the brand new rear caliper of Golf GTI 25AE(a.k.a. Golf 337). Now the upgrade is done.

I look up and compare the Factory User Manual and Bentley New Beetle Service Manual. I noticed there are some difference between two of them, and I also check the car by myself and search some website about this fuse locations and functions. I eventually got this handy information.

My girl friend draw this picture for me, she told me this is her feeling when she is on my car in the midnight. :) I always drive very fast on the bridge and motorway in the midnight. app. 180km/h to 200km/h. Enjoy it.
